Paris Flea Markets: Touring with the Antiques Diva and The Editor at Large

Le Marche Aux Puces is THE flea market of all flea markets.
The sheer enjoyment of this visit to Paris was the kind invitation by Toma of The Antiques Diva, who I was lucky enough to meet in person on BlogTour NOLA, to join her and The Editor at Large on a tour of the market and some of her favorite stands.

We started off the morning with a Champagne breakfast at Un Singe en Hiver which was beautifully set up and had everyone from all over the US in the design field filling its gates. Pretty incredible to see so many of US finest all in one place..

Toma took David Dalton and I out for a spin around Les Puces, and we started our adventure in a vintage clothing store. Vintage in Paris = HAUTE COUTURE madness..

what was even better was bumping into 3 fab friends from the Ronald McDonald House adventure, designers and the lucky ladies that had time to shop - Vasi, Margareet and Kim - all their rooms featured here on the blog too.

The markets are filled with stands in every corner.. some pieces out in the middle of the walkways.
You have to be quick!

we even bumped into Martyn Lawrence Bullard shopping along the way..

I had the pleasure of continuing the journey through the market with Young Huh as well as Janice and Rob Langrall.. and we ended our day, and the trip on a high note with a treasure trove of antique trims .. and filled our bags with them!

Watch the 3 part series here of my visit through the Paris Flea Market  -
or visit the posts on my finds from Maison et Objet and Paris Deco Off from last week.
